Famous Groupies is very fortunate and very honoured when other fine singers and musicians agree to a guest spot on our records, and Black Apple does indeed have a few talented guests onboard. We'd like to chat about a few of them in this post.

First, our good friend, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist -Mr. Dana Countryman has joined us once again, and he also informed us that he has made his entire catalougue available for FREE on Bandcamp. Dana has an old soul and his music offers many early pop influences, such as McCartney, Nilsson, David Gates, The Carpenters and many other class acts from the 60s and 70s. Nick Frater...

Another fab artist to lend his talents to the new Black Apple record is our good friend- Mr. Nick Frater.
Nick just might be the most productive music being we have ever encountered. Prolific and as busy a writer/musician could be - much like The Beatles "collectively" in their heyday (or, Dana Countryman), Yet, even with as many projects that Nick has in the works -he still has time to generously track vocals for us.

Jamie Whelligan...

Nick Frater was kind enough to introduce us to his friend- Mr. Jamie Whelligan and his vast treasure trove of talent. We are delighted that Jamie took time out to track vocals for us, and the blend is sublime.
Jamie has a wealth of material 'out there' to explore and much like Dana and Nick, his songs are totally fab. Wonderful in fact!
